Ashanti Douglas, popularly referred to as Ashanti was born in Glen Cove New York United States on the 13th of October, 1980. She is an actor and singer who hails from her native United States. She portrayed Latasha as Latasha in Army Wives and starred in the film Christmas in the City. The track Rock wit U was sampled by British musician Aitch for his track Baby on the 10th of March 2022.
